Key Responsibilities :

Medication Dispensing : Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.

Patient Counseling : Provide thorough guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.

Controlled Substances Management : Maintain precise records and responsibly manage controlled substances.

Staff Training : Train and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold best practices.

Collaborative Care : Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care.

Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.

Insurance Processing : Efficiently handle insurance claims and reimbursements.

Customer Service : Professionally address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns.

Job Requirements :

Required : Valid pharmacist license as per state regulations.

Required : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred : 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.

Skills :

In-depth knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.

Proficiency in pharmacy management software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Dedication to providing outstanding patient care.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).

Experience in inventory management and implementing cost-saving measures.

Proven success in managing a pharmacy team effectively.
