Job Description : Locum - Physician - Pediatric Emergency Room
Location : Neptune, NJ
Shift Type : Varied (7a-5p, 1p-11p, 9p-7a)
Weekend Requirements : Yes
On Call : No
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Duties :
- Provide pediatric emergency care to patients in an independent pediatric ER.
- Handle a variety of pediatric cases, including trauma, illnesses, and injuries.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), scribes, and specialists.
- Maintain documentation and patient records in EPIC EMR.
- Facility Overview :
- 22,000 annual pediatric visits.
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 8 pediatric beds (including private rooms).
- 10-bed PICU and 40-bed NICU.
- In-house specialty back-up including trauma, neurosurgery, PICU, and anesthesia support.
- Pediatric training program at the facility.
