This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award.

Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as Mid-Level Operations Analyst - Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Technical SME for the Commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). In this role, you will provide tactical and operational expertise to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the Surface Force across multiple warfare domains. Occasional travel may be required.

SMWDC’s mission focuses on advancing the Navy's Surface Force through four key areas :

  • Doctrine and Tactical Guidance Development

  • Capability Assessment, Experimentation, and Requirements

Support Locations :

This role provides support across various SMWDC sites, including :

  • SMWDC Headquarters, San Diego, CA
  • Mine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CA
  • Sea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CA
  • Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VA
  • Amphibious Warfare (AMW) Division, Little Creek, VA
  • Requirements : Experience :

  • Minimum 10 years of military experience
  • At least 8 of those years in the operation of a Naval ASW suite such as SQQ-89(V)

  • Possess a Tactical Action Officer Qualification letter
  • Qualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the ASW Weapon System (i.e. TAO, ASW Evaluator)
  • Strike Group, Fleet, Major Training Command, Systems Testing Command, or similar military organization planning experience
  • Understanding of SHAREM Process
  • Experience in the following :
  • Navy Combat Systems development

  • Rapid Capability Development process
  • Review and Collaboration on Navy Technical Documentation
  • Qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and capacity evaluations
  • Microsoft Office suite of programs (Access, Excel, Power Point, Project and Word)
  • Preferred Attributes

  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve tactical training and operational strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for interfacing with Navy leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Security Clearance :

  • Possess current SECRET Security Clearance with TS / SCI eligibility
