About The Position

Job Title : OR Tech

Shift : 10 Hour Variable

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : 2 years of OR Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

License : CST or SFA certification required

Certifications : BLS, CST-NBSTA preferred, CSFA (NBSTSA or NCCSA), SA-C, CSA, or CRNFA (ASBA)

Must-Have : Proficient in Neuro, Trauma, ENT, Robotics. Davinci XI and Craniotomy experience is required for trauma cases.

Description :

Minimum of 2 years of experience with mentioned case types.

Must be willing to float to Central Sterile Processing as needed.

Patient types include Surgical (Urology, Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, General, Podiatry, ENT).

Patient ratios are OR 1 : 1, Pre-Op 1 : 2, PACU Phase I 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 based on acuity, and PACU Phase II 1 : 2-3.

Surgery support includes RN / First Assist / Surg Tech, Nurse Clinician, CRN, Service Line Lead, Scheduler, Preference Card Analyst, OR Tech per case, and Anesthesia.

Call needs are subject to change based on departmental needs.

Expect a weekend rotation with call requirements.

Holiday expectations include working 2 out of 4 major holidays.

Approval for time off requires reaching out to the manager.

Scrub color will be provided.
