A Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive Polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and / or under the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitoring patients, ensuring accurate data collection, and educating patients on sleep-related treatments.
Regulatory / Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or
- Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or
- A Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
- A minimum of 1 one year applicable clinic setting experience.
Language Skills
