A Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive Polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and / or under the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitoring patients, ensuring accurate data collection, and educating patients on sleep-related treatments.

Regulatory / Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Current BLS certification
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or
Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or
A Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
A minimum of 1 one year applicable clinic setting experience.

Language Skills

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Additional language preferred.

Skills

Strong computer knowledge

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical data and professional journals

Ability to understand and use electronic healthcare records.

Strong communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.
