We are looking for a full time Landscape Construction Technician & Truck Driver to be a part of our unique team and help execute our landscaping projects. Landscape Technicians build and install landscapes start to finish. Using machinery and hand tools to complete tasks related to landscape installation, Landscape Technicians perform duties including but not limited to excavation, moving soil & materials, planting, masonry, carpentry, pruning, and irrigation / drainage. Landscape technicians report to the Crew Lead assigned for their project and are responsible for fulfilling duties outlined by the Crew Lead. You will be working directly with an installation crew of 3-4 people, plus our designer and project manager through certain phases of each project.
Our ideal hire will have 3+ years of experience driving large vehicles for contractors in Seattle, and have 2-5 years experience in landscape construction. Full abilities for hardscape installation (pavers, flagstones, rockeries, block walls), intermediate to advanced horticulture & plant ID for common landscaping plants and PNW native species, plus intermediate skills in any of the following : carpentry, metal work / welding, irrigation, landscape lighting, operating machinery, mechanics, or other supporting skills which would be of value to our team.
