Setting : Hospital-based ER / GYN and L&D call coverage

Beds : 10 LDRP

3 Postpartum

1 Triage

12-bed normal newborn nursery (no SCN)

Staffing : 2 OB / GYN Physicians, 5 CNMs

Daily Census : Newborns : 3-4

Nursery Admissions : 2-5 / day

Pediatrics : 0-1 every 2 months Clinical Scope

Providers must perform C-sections and all OB / GYN surgeries

GYN volume : 40-50%

Surgeries : 1-4 per day
