Block Layer

Cornerstone Custom Construction is seeking Experienced Block Layers for work in the northern Metro. Must have at least six to twelve months experience be hardworking, reliable.

Our strong and growing company specializes in full concrete construction, from foundations to flatwork to decorative concrete finishes. In this position you will be responsible for block laying in both commercial and / or residential projects. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

We offer competitive wages along with a $500 retention bonus to be paid out after six months of employment. Starting wages are based on experience. Performance reviews are given after 90 days of employment, opening the opportunity for a wage increase and elevated positioning within the company.  We offer a complete benefits package including health, dental, eye and disability insurance along with a retirement plan that has up to 3% company matching!

Summary of responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

• The priority of the block layer is to lay block
• The block layer must be able to help the crew teach a laborer to stay ahead of the block layers in the project staging on all levels.
• Set bolts & anchor straps in the right locations
• Clean surfaces, tools, and surrounding area thoroughly.
