Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal databases. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the New York State Bar Association. Real Estate Law Certification (preferred but not required). In-depth understanding of real estate law and commercial real estate practices. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, concise advice. Knowledge of current real estate market trends and legal developments. Advanced computer skills, including legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Description : Duties :
- Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate leases and related documents.
- Oversee and manage commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions.
- Provide legal advice on real estate investment and development projects.
- Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including title searches, zoning issues, and environmental concerns.
- Liaise with clients, brokers, and other attorneys to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal real estate laws and regulations.
- Resolve real estate disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation if necessary.
- Advise clients on real estate financing and refinancing strategies.
- Prepare and present reports on real estate market trends and legal risks.
