job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field). 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering for MEP design. Hands-on Revit MEP experience required. Proven experience in data center electrical design (UPS, redundancy, generator systems, cooling power interface, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD, SKM, or ETAP is a plus. Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and data center industry standards (Uptime, TIA, BICSI). Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the design of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, UPS, generators, switchgear, etc.) for data centers and MEP projects.
- Develop and coordinate 3D models in Revit for accurate documentation and clash detection.
- Perform load calculations, single-line diagrams, and short circuit studies using industry-standard tools.
- Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local codes / regulations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, and structural teams to ensure fully coordinated MEP solutions.
- Provide technical support during construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits).
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, supporting a culture of knowledge-sharing.
