Data Modeler

A company is looking for a Data Modeler to support enterprise architecture and data syndication activities for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement logical and physical data models for healthcare data integration, analytics, and reporting

Create and maintain dimensional and relational data models for VistA and Oracle Health data syndication

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and clinical requirements into usable data structures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related technical field

5+ years of experience in data modeling, including logical, physical, and dimensional modeling

Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER / Studio, or equivalent

Strong understanding of relational database concepts and metadata management

Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other enterprise-class database systems
