The Charge Nurse in the NICU is responsible for coordinating nursing services and leading the interdisciplinary care team within a Level III Unit that cares for critically ill infants. They perform essential nursing functions, including care planning, delegation, and direct patient care, while also holding a leadership role in the absence of the Nurse Manager. This position requires a Registered Nurse with NICU experience, advanced training in neonatal care, and the ability to work collaboratively in high-stress environments.

Overview :

Compensation / Benefits

• $30.11-$49.17 / hr. based on previous work experience.
• Evening differential $2.50 / hr.
• Night differential $3.00 / hr.
• Weekend differential $3.00 / hr.

HPX NICU is a 25 bed Level III Unit caring for infants 23-42 weeks gestation. We have a staff of 5 Neonatologist and experienced Nurse Practitioner working along side experience RN's who specialize in Neonatal Care. In addition, we have a NICU ground transport team who are able to provide care to critical infants in need.
