job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCandidate should have either a BSCE degree, or Arizona Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of five years of experience in land site development or the equivalent of ten years work experience. Experience peer-reviewing the work of land site development designers and drafters. Strong independent thought and decision-making abilities; demonstrated leadership skills; ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients / public-agency personnel and in-house staff. Proficiency in conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies (including land use and zoning considerations, site constraints, infrastructure needs, and regulatory issues); preparation / processing of regulatory plans; preparation / processing of public improvement plans; hydrologic studies and drainage reports; and use of WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD, and FlowMaster for analysis. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience related to land site development design and plan preparation, including feature lines, surface creation, profiles for offsite roadways and utilities, pipe networks for underground utilities, and dynamic labeling and notes.
