Certified Welding Inspector

Responsibilities :
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specified welding procedures and codes.
- Perform thorough examinations of welds using various inspection techniques.
- Identify and document weld defects, discontinuities, and imperfections according to established criteria and standards.
- Ensure adherence to industry codes, welding procedures, and standards during inspections. Keep updated with the latest welding techniques and industry practices.
- Possess Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from a recognized body.
- Have in-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and certifications.
- Communicate effectively with welding personnel, QA / QC, project managers, and engineers.
- Collaborate to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Demonstrated experience in welding inspection within mechanical industries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret welding defects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and promoting a safe work environment.
Capable of working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
