Organization : Hyatt Corporate Office

Summary : Hyatt is seeking a Corporate Counsel-IT Operations to support the global technology team with drafting and negotiating technology agreements and advising on related legal matters, helping Hyatt maintain its position as a leading hospitality brand.

The Role

Responsibilities include primary legal support for the global technology team, including :

  • Drafting and negotiating software, hardware, and technology services agreements
  • Advising on legal questions raised by technology colleagues
  • Advising on data privacy language in vendor and sales agreements
  • Providing direct legal guidance to clients on topics such as risk in vendor agreements and vendor disputes

Qualifications

Experience Required :

  • 3+ years of legal experience in either a private law firm or in-house counsel position
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, research, interpersonal, and analytic skills
  • Experience drafting and negotiating vendor agreements
  • Must be collaborative and able to work as part of a team
  • Curious problem solver
  • Experience Preferred :

  • Experience advising on data privacy provisions in vendor agreements
  • Experience in commercial transactions or disputes, evaluating risk, and providing legal advice directly to clients

  • The salary range for this position is $131,300 - $190,000. Final pay is based on experience, skills, and location. Pay complies with local requirements.
