Special Education Teacher – Will County, Illinois

Position Details :

Role : Special Education Teacher

Location : Will County, IL

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 3 : 40 PM

Duration : ASAP – 05 / 22 / 2026

Setting : CARES Program

Caseload : 6–10 elementary students, supported by 2 paraprofessionals

Responsibilities :

Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals

Deliver resource services through both pull-out and push-in support

Track and report student progress toward goals

Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families

Maintain a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications :

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsement (required)

Experience in resource or inclusive settings preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
