Mechanical Construction Engineer

Looking for multiple engineers or construction-related candidates who have a strong HVAC background and experience working as Application Engineers or Project Engineers to collaborate directly with the Sales and Estimating teams.

Responsibilities include :

• Review bidding documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Handle HVAC equipment selection and pricing, write technical proposals, and develop cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding.
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mechanical contractors for clarifications needed by sales engineers, application engineers, and project administrators.
• Possess experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Be familiar with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and / or temperature control systems.
• Prepare proposals and pricing breakdowns while evaluating equipment savings and costs.
• Assemble bid files, including all development information, in the customer relationship management (CRM) system to prepare estimates.
• Be responsible for the cost estimation of HVAC or air distribution equipment and systems related to assigned bid opportunities.
