We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist / Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 10, 2025. This position offers Monday through Friday day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm. The assignment involves providing comprehensive care for oncology and hematology patients, including evaluations, physical examinations, and monitoring treatment plans. Job Details Location : California Start Date : Nov 10, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Hematologist / Oncologist Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm Responsibilities and Duties Conduct patient evaluations and physical examinations Write prescriptions and provide specific cancer-related information to patients Monitor and manage treatment plans for hematology and oncology patients Administer chemotherapy and perform infusions Perform bone marrow biopsies (a plus but not required) May conduct rounds at local hospitals with advance notice Additional Information Must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology California medical license required Experience with various EMR systems Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
