American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with two years of experience and ARRT certification to work variable evening and night shifts in a hospital setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Hospital-based MRI department with a focus on Radiologic and Cardiac MRI imagingEvening and night 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, variable days as neededPrimary shift is 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM with potential for some overnight coverageAssignments may require floating to multiple units or locations within the organization depending on staffing needsPermanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facilityPerform complex and specialized MRI imaging procedures using a wide range of equipment and systemsResponsible for equipment maintenance, participation in quality assurance, and resolving issues related to image processing and archivingCollaborate with staff to prioritize schedules and triage both routine and emergent proceduresParticipate in training and instruction of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals, and may be involved in clinical researchHoliday and weekend rotations may be required depending on unitStrict pass / fail telemetry exam required prior to start with limited retake opportunitiesGeneral orientation is approximately one week and may start on varying daysFirst-time travelers may be accepted depending on the unitNo local candidates accepted\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an MRI TechnologistGraduate of a School of Radiologic Technology; bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferredCertification by ARRT in Radiography (R) and MRI (MR)Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart AssociationLicense required if applicableAbility to work with all patient age groups and varying locations\n Benefits\n
