Work Location : Onsite at 1555 W Ogden Ave., Naperville, IL 60540, USA

Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM

Job Type : Contract

Responsibilities

Develop clear and concise operational instructions for process manuals and other documents.
Collaborate with Core team (operators / union members), safety team, engineers and product managers to understand product specifications and requirements.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accurate instructions.
Conduct interviews with and observe work performed by various user groups (Operators / Union employees) to gather data for documentation (start-up / shutdown / changeovers, etc.).
Gather photographs and other media to enhance and provide visual clarification of documents.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in training or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or technical writing degree.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a technical writer or service writer (food industry or related).

Solid technical writing skills, including the ability to research and document functionality, protocols, and processes.

Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading and editing skills, with strong verbal communication.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver clear documentation for non-technical audiences.
