CNC Turning Center Operator

Anaheim, CA

7 : 00am- 3 : 30pm

$24.00-$28.00 / hour

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Turning Center Operator to join our established manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances, and contributing to a collaborative production environment. Your expertise in machine setup, tooling selection, and blueprint interpretation will be essential to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts.
  • Select appropriate tooling and work holdings for each job.
  • Perform first article inspections to verify part accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot machine or program issues to maintain production flow.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate part creation.
  • Adjust machine speeds and feeds to optimize cutting performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Complete daily documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathe machines.
  • Proficiency in using Fanuc controls and G-code programming.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools, such as calipers and indicators.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with programming at the machine.
  • Familiarity with other types of CNC equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute to a team environment.
