UNIVERSAL BANKER II POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with a customers financial transactions in an efficient and friendly manner, providing the highest level of customer service. In addition, this position will assist with financial counseling, including opening and servicing of consumer accounts.
SCHEDULE
Typical schedule is 8 : 15 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday rotation of 8 : 15 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. or 5 : 30 p.m.

UNIVERSAL BANKER II PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service through quality conversations and efficient and accurate process of customer transactionsBuild relationships with customers by identifying needs and offering solutionsProvide accurate information to customers based on product and service knowledge and understanding of the banking industrySell, open, and maintain banking products and services to new and existing customersProficient in customer account opening, maintenance, and closing accounts (including checking, savings, CDs, and safe deposit boxes)Efficiently and proficiently open and service business accounts, fiduciary accounts, and HSA / IRA accountsPossess an understanding of the services that the Business Online Cash Management offersProcess check orders; follow check cashing procedures; issue cashiers checks; process wire transfers, perform online and mobile banking maintenance; process stop payments and debit card disputesCross-sell / refer bank products and services to other areas of the bank, including commercial and mortgage lendingHandle financial transactions efficiently and effectively with all customers (including, but not limited to : deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, and merchant transactions)Maintain a balanced cash drawerMeet or exceed all established branch goals and contribute to branch deposit growthPerform ITM duties in applicable marketsUNIVERSAL BANKER II QUALIFICATIONS :
Education
High school diploma or equivalent requiredOther Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in typing with speed and accuracy; basic keyboarding skills are requiredAccounting or banking experience encouragedStrong math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measureExceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, understand procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employeesMust be able to multi-task in a busy environmentUnderstands computer and other equipment capabilities and limitationsExceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to function well in a fast-paced environmentMaintain a complete understanding of regulatory and compliance policies and proceduresMust be able to work flexible hours and shiftsTravel to / from and work in multiple locations; must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportationPM21
