Job Title : Assembler Salary : $18.00 + Shift : 1 st Shift, M-F 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm Summary : General Assembly duties may include building / finishing our amazing in-house products as well as components of those from many of our clients. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, machines such as forklifts. Job Responsibilities :

  • Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager / supervisor in a timely manner
  • Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, and set out or put away tools
  • Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work
  • Building and / or finishing a variety of in-house products utilizing hand and power tools

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Math Skills : Basic math skills
  • Familiar with the function of hand tools related to grinding / deburring materials
  • Good attention to detail and self-motivated
  • Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer
  • Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team
  • Manual dexterity to use hand held tools and shop machines
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in general labor / manufacturing and / or metal fabrication preferred
  • Ability to understand blueprints documents
  • Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBOSS
  • Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents.
