We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Cleveland, OH. This full-time role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting and analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis :

    • Assist the CFO with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.

  • Prepare and analyze budget-to-actual variance reports and support overall financial performance tracking.
  • General Accounting & Reconciliations :

    • Record monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, amortizations, and depreciation entries.

  • Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and maintain fixed asset and benefit cost schedules.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Support :

    • Assist with processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.

  • Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable aging and support collection efforts.
  • Audit Support & Compliance :

    • Gather and maintain documentation to support audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.

  • Research and interpret accounting data to respond to inquiries and ensure compliance.
  • General Support :

    • Uphold and model the companys Core Values in all work and interactions.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

    • Location and Work Environment :

  • Onsite in Cleveland, OH.
  • Occasional travel between company locations may be required.
  • Primarily office-based with some exposure to warehouse environments (some areas may lack heating or air conditioning).

    • Schedule, Compensation, Benefits, and Perks :

  • Standard schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm.
  • Occasional overtime may be required during month-end or audit periods.
  • Base salary : $65,000 - $75,000.

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven accounting experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word.
  • Experience with Sage 100 (or similar ERP software) preferred.
  • Strong math skills, including percentages, ratios, and fractions.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
  • Completion of a Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment through the Predictive Index required.
  • Successful completion of a company background check and drug screening required.
