$2,783 per week

About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Profession : Technologist

Specialty : MRI

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (8am – 6pm)

Experience : 2 years MRI experience required

License : ARRT (MR) required

Certifications : CPR Certification required

Must-Have : Must meet all job requirements

Description :

Perform all required procedures through proper positioning and technique.

Consistently demonstrate good judgment in evaluating the resulting diagnostic studies.

Screen patients before exams for any contraindications or precautionary measures.

Obtain and review the requisition for examination to gather necessary information.

Thoroughly explain the procedure and answer any patient questions.

Aim to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate cooperation.

Monitor the condition of patients and assist when needed.

Comply with company policy and procedures.

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and emergency plans.

Maintain diagnostic equipment by cleaning and disinfecting it.

Ensure the work area is kept orderly.

Check that emergency equipment is in good working order.

Report any problems with equipment to a supervisor.

Prepare examinations for interpretation including correct identification and processing of films.

Include clinical history and previous exams for comparison if available.

Assist radiologists during the administration of contrast media.

Practice aseptic techniques as required.

Recognize allergic reactions and respond according to procedures.

Maintain standard precautions and infection control policies.

Assist with patient scheduling and preparation prior to examinations.

Ensure that each patient receives the highest quality service possible.

Conduct examinations considering the patient’s age, condition, or other special needs.

Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Perform other projects as requested.
