Ohio Oaks, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is currently seeking a skilled professional Unit Manager LPN or RN to join our dedicated management team.

As the Unit Manager LPN or RN, you will play a pivotal role in day-to-day clinical leadership and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents within our Skilled Long-Term Care facility.                  This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing compassionate care to the elderly population.

Unit Manager LPN or RN Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise nursing staff, Including RN’s, LPN’s, and CNA’s, to ensure the delivery of excellent resident care.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Monitor resident health and well-being, and coordinate with healthcare providers to address medical concerns.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and ensure open communication.

Unit Manager LPN or RN Qualifications

  • Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License for the state of Ohio. Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 year of acute care, long term care or geriatric supervision and management experience in a Medicaid / Medicare certified facility.
  • Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations and the survey process.
