ATC Healthcare is seeking a Radiology / Cardiology - Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 1 year of experience for immediate hire to join our warm, safe, and friendly team.

Location : Kinston, NC

Job Type : 13-Week Contract

Job ID : AALOET2917168

Pay : $51-52 / hour depending on experience and unit worked

Shifts Available : Day 4x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30)

Summary

We are seeking an Echocardiographer to join our team at ATC Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and providing critical diagnostic evaluations that contribute to patient care. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver the best patient care possible.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiograms and analyze results to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results in compliance with medical standards.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols during procedures.
  • Educate patients on the echocardiogram process and provide support throughout their experience.
  • Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography techniques and technologies.

Requirements

  • Certification as an Echocardiographer or equivalent qualification required. (ARDMS, BLS, CCI RCS)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiology principles and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and vital signs assessment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to cardiac care is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly within emergency medicine settings.
