Inventory Control Specialist

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily PRD, PO, SO, and TFR transactions
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and erroneous transactions
- Troubleshoot to find the root cause of inventory issues and discrepancies
- Respond to urgent inventory issues and counts
- Perform defined number of cycle counts per week
- Educate and train the workforce when errors are made within the system
- Reduce on-hand inventory through minimum / maximum adjustments
- Work with Sales, PLM's, and Quality to reduce stagnant inventory
- Learn purchasing as a secondary function
- Maintain trade agreements and vendor contracts for purchasing
- Work with Finance & Accounting to ensure the integrity of inventory valuation
- Demonstrate an advance proficiency with all inventory control functions in D365
- Support driving down excess (salable) inventory generated by the business
- Responsible for tracking KPI's such as inventory accuracy, write-off / write-in data, and other applicable measures as required.
- Drive process improvements
- Participates in product counting, relocation, and assigned inventory processes
- Comply with Company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent warehouse operations
- Comply with all safety requirements within the company
- Comply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe handling practices as required from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed

Demonstrate professionalism at all timeExperience in a manufacturing and / or distribution facilityDemonstrated Inventory Control experienceExperience operating a forkliftStrong numeracy skills and attention to detailProven problem-solving skillsExperience with warehouse management softwareIntermediate Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics [AX & D365]Pass forklift driving exam (post-offer)Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleaguesEffective communication skills and time managementOccasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.Ability to stand and / or walk for extended periods of timeEducation Requirements
