  • Location : Los Alamos, NM 87544 (Northern New Mexico healthcare jobs)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Start Date : November 3, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 2, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13-week contract\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (19 : 00-07 : 00)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed)\n
  • Weekend Hours : Every other weekend / as needed\n
  • Call Requirements : As needed\n
  • Unit : OB / GYN (LDRP / PP)\n
  • Orientation : Weekly, Mondays\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2100-$2250\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license valid in New Mexico (New Mexico nursing jobs)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or Postpartum nursing experience\n
  • Required Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS (current at submission)\n
  • Must meet New Mexico state fingerprinting / background check requirements prior to start (14-day waiver available)\n
  • Ability to float to other units as needed\n
  • Compliance with facility dress code (scrubs required)\n

    • \n\nL&D RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 4-bed labor and 4-bed postpartum unit\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages\n
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care\n
  • Maintain accurate records using OBIX, Medhost, and GUI EHR systems\n
  • Float to other clinical units as needed\n
  • Uphold a patient-focused, team-oriented, and eager-to-learn attitude\n
