Madden's is currently seeking Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Team Members. These positions will assist in performing a diverse range of golf course maintenance duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs general golf course maintenance using handheld equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Operates walking equipment in mowing greens collars and tees.
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Operates riding equipment in mowing fairways, approaches and rough.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates sod cutter, trencher and tamper for routine projects.
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Assistant Superintendent.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Attending staff meetings.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Skills and Abilities :

Education / Experience : Golf Course knowledge is preferred but not required.

Supervisory Responsibilities : This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment : Work is performed mainly outside on golf courses.

Physical Demands : Primarily walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk / hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50-pound boxes and sometimes up to 100 pounds.

Travel : Less than 10% travel required.
