Full Training Provided!    This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position.  Regular progression increases and shift differential (for those working 2nd and / or 3rd shift).  Selected Candidates will be enrolled in our Apprentice Training program , where they are paired with a Trainer and learn how to set up and operate a designated piece of Bindery equipment.

• Work alongside the Operator, assisting with paper loading, and boxing product.
• Learn to set up and maintain major or complex binding equipment.
• Learn to read Job Tickets, which includes the instructions for the equipment, paper and quantity specs and post Bindery instruction.
• Learn to monitor equipment during operations to ensure tolerances are being maintained and how to make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist with daily maintenance duties such as cleaning machinery to remove paper dust and lint, check pumps and other operating parts, as needed.

Additional Information

The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $18 / hour + $1.75 shift differential. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and / or stand-by pay.
