job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTest and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, etc.) Vacuum and brush pools, clean skimmer and pump baskets, and backwash filters Inspect and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and timers Identify and troubleshoot issues related to water quality or equipment function Perform scheduled weekly / monthly maintenance visits to client properties Document service visits and maintain accurate records for each job Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean and safe condition Communicate professionally with clients regarding services, issues, and recommendations Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience as a pool technician preferred (willing to train the right candidate) Valid driver's license with clean driving record Familiarity with basic mechanical systems and water chemistry Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting) Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or similar certification Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge Experience with saltwater and automated pool systems Spanish speaking is a plus
