Hours : 1st Shift, days will vary | No Supervisory Responsibilities | No Travel | Pay commensurate with experience

Full-Time, Twelve (12) hour day shift in the Laboratory.

• Eligible for a commitment bonus up to $10,000.

JOB SUMMARY :

To perform independently, without direct supervision, medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analysis, to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Attend and participate in hospital and laboratory compliance in-services.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

Regulatory Requirements :

The skills required for proper specimen collection, including patient preparation, labeling, handling, preservation or fixation, processing or preparation.

The skills required to implement the quality control policies and procedures of the laboratory.

Have earned a doctoral, masters, or bachelors degree in chemical physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical terminology from an accredited institution and have at least one year laboratory training or experience or both in high complexity testing, or

Have earned an associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory from an accredited institution, have at least 2 years laboratory training or experience, or both

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Must be willing to receive all required vaccinations (i.e., flu shot, etc.). All new employees working must be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment (unless the new hire has requested and received an exemption). Candidates for employment will be notified of this policy requirement prior to the start of employment. After receiving an offer of employment, new employees must provide proof of vaccination or request and receive an exemption before beginning work.
