Emergency Veterinarian -F / T, P / T, Relief

VRCC, located just 2 miles from Short Pump in Richmond, VA, is seeking full-time and part-time emergency veterinarians to join our team. Day shifts and overnights are both available.

Established in 1997, VRCC is a privately owned emergency and specialty hospital. We offer Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Canine Rehabilitation, and emergency services.

Duties

Provide gold-standard medical care for canines and felines.

Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases.

Work with VRCC specialists; Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Surgeons.

Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school

Valid state veterinary license to practice veterinary medicine

Strong knowledge of veterinary critical care practices and emergency medicine

Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate pet owners on proper animal care
