VRCC, located just 2 miles from Short Pump in Richmond, VA, is seeking full-time and part-time emergency veterinarians to join our team. Day shifts and overnights are both available.

Established in 1997, VRCC is a privately owned emergency and specialty hospital. We offer Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Canine Rehabilitation, and emergency services.

  • Health, Vision, dental, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance for the employee is 100% covered by VRCC.
  • Liability insurance, license fees, and professional dues are all paid by VRCC. Our 401K is matched at 100% of the first 3% contribution, and 50% of the 4th and 5th%. Our 401K contribution is funded every two weeks, not once a year.

Duties

  • Provide gold-standard medical care for canines and felines.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
  • Work with VRCC specialists; Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Surgeons.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
  • Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Valid state veterinary license to practice veterinary medicine
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary critical care practices and emergency medicine
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate pet owners on proper animal care

    Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

    Pay : Up to $220,000.00 per year
