Lead In Home On-Call CNA Quality Assurance Caregiver

Comfort Keepers provides award-winning in-home care for seniors and adults who need assistance at home. Our expert-trained home care aides / caregivers enrich the lives of our clients and their families. Our Scarborough, Maine office is rapidly growing!

We are seeking a Lead On-Call / Quality Assurance Caregiver , who has a passion in serving others while mentoring and ensuring quality services by our team members. If you are professional, compassionate, and thrive in helping others, we want to meet you!

Job Responsibilities :

50% of your time will be dedicated to working backup shifts for caregiver staff :

• Companionship & Conversation
• Meal Preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Light Housekeeping
• Personal Hygiene, Dressing, Grooming
• Activities of Daily Living
• Mobility Support
• Shift coverage work hours may vary

Remaining 50% of your time will be dedicated to training & quality assurance :

Help Train / Onboard New Caregivers

Accompanying New Caregiving Staff to their first shifts to ensure they feel supported and comfortable in their roles

Conducting Quality Assurance checks on Caregivers

Reassessing Client Needs

Local travel required (client home care, staff mentoring & quality assurance checks).

Mileage Reimbursement

Highly communicative to all stakeholders : clients, caregiving staff, in-office staff, the Director of Operations, and parent company team members.

This position reports to the Director of Operations and other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNA, DCW, Home Health Aide, Caregiver or other related profession.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office

Experience using eRSP Home Care Software is a PLUS; will train the right candidate

Valid driver's license is required.

High attention to detail

Reliability, professionalism and commitment to the job are required

Excellent communication skills (both oral & written)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Direct Care Worker (DCW) or related education and / or experience.

Resume MUST demonstrate the leadership / mentoring requirement.
