Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP OB / GYN position on the night shift, requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior Labor & Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a combined OB / GYN Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
  • Night shift position, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Care for obstetric and gynecologic patient population
  • Responsible for providing nursing care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery for OB / GYN patients
  • Participation in the full cycle of perinatal and postnatal care within the LDRP setting
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support mothers and newborns
  • Profile and skills checklist required for consideration
  • First time travelers will be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active TN or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of LDRP or OB / GYN nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
  • Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
  • COVID vaccination record required
  • Cannot live within 60 miles of the assignment location
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • May not be employed full-time elsewhere during contract
