NOW CFO is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager (Part-Time) to join our consulting team in the Bay Area. As an accounting manager / consultant, the day-to-day responsibilities will vary significantly depending on a company’s size and needs. This role requires a strong operational focus and hands-on experience in accounting.

Compensation : $100,000 – $130,000 annualized salary, depending on experience and hours worked.

Schedule : This position will start at approximately 20 hours per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as client needs increase.

Depending on the client's needs and preferences, this role offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities :

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Support month-end and year-end close process.

Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques.

Conduct internal audits to assess financial status.

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Serve as primary contact for external auditors.

Qualifications :

Accounting or Finance degree (BS / BA / MBA).

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Strong leadership qualities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Deadline and detail-oriented.

Public accounting background (Preferred but not required).
