MyLand is looking to hire a Grower Relations Manager to cultivate strong relationships with current customers, engage potential clients and collaborate with industry leaders to drive organizational growth. Fostering strong partnerships is essential to our sales process because our customers truly become our trusted partners.
This role will report directly to the Sr. Grower Relations Director.
Essential job Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain a productive customer acquisition pipeline and focus on expansion with current customer
- Ensure fast response to any system issues experienced by our customers and partner with departments within the organization to find a solution
- Lead or participate in local marketing activities such as grower meetings, regional tradeshows, expos, and community events
- Translate statistical information into an easy-to-understand format for growers, using grower friendly language
- Ability to provide system and account oversight and coordinate communication as needed with external and internal stakeholders
- Build solid relationships and rapport with growers to assist with expansion potential on existing accounts
- Other increasing responsibilities as assigned by manager
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's Degree, in Agriculture or Ag Sciences.Experience : 3-5 years; advanced knowledge of agronomy and ag sciencesAbility to read and interpret data and recognize emerging market dynamics or patternsHave an existing base of contacts with growers, landowners, and other influential industry professionalsExperience using HubSpot, NetSuite, or other CRM / Work Management platformsStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow essential processesExperience in dealing with confidential materials and situationsExcellent organizational and follow-up skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent toolsAbility to think critically and exercise discretion and independent judgementAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable with a variety of tasks and work in a fast-paced startup environmentCollaborative approach to work and willingness to assist othersComfortable being out in the field and traveling from farm to farm 60% of the time
