Radiology - Interventional Physician

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a VA Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to serve veterans in a supportive environment with a collaborative team of IR techs and nurses.

Schedule & Workload :

Routine Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM

On-Call Requirement : Weekdays, weekends, and holidays (emergency coverage as needed)

Flexible Hours : Routine hours may be extended depending on clinical needs

Case Volume : Average of cases per week, per radiologist

Scope of Work Includes :

Angiography

Balloon angioplasty / Stent placement

Chemoembolization

Cholecystostomy

Drain insertions

Embolization procedures

Gastrostomy

Dialysis access & interventions

TIPS placement

Radiofrequency / Microwave ablation

Biliary interventions

Line insertions (central lines, PICCs, etc.)
