Strong knowledge of molding presses (hydraulic / electric), molds, and auxiliary equipment. Experience with plastics like Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, ABS, and Nylon. RJG Master Molder Certification preferred. Experience with robotics and EOAT systems a plus.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Molding Manufacturing Engineer to support injection molding operations. The role focuses on improving processes, reducing scrap and setup times, validating materials and molds, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize injection molding processes using Scientific Molding and DOE techniques.
- Troubleshoot molding issues and implement solutions to reduce defects.
- Improve cycle times and manufacturing efficiency.
- Conduct process validations and maintain process documentation.
- Work with production and design teams to enhance tooling and product manufacturability.
- Prepare technical documents such as work instructions, risk assessments, and validation reports.
- Support maintenance and equipment improvement activities in a cGMP-compliant environment.
