Larkin Hoffman is seeking a Trademark Attorney to join our Intellectual Property Department as an Associate Attorney.
This position will work closely with other members of our Intellectual Property practice group to advise a broad range of clients on the management and protection of brands, trademarks and copyrights worldwide.
The successful candidate will have experience in trademark prosecution, clearance, enforcement, and brand protection strategies.
Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple matters at a time, and strong writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate trademark and other legal issues in a clear and concise manner. Candidates should have a genuine interest in building a career in brand management and trademark law. While trademarks will be the primary area of focus, this position will also provide the opportunity to develop skills in drafting and negotiating information technology agreements and in data privacy.
We are looking for candidates with 2-6 years of trademark experience, a strong desire to become an expert in trademark law and information technology, and who are admitted or eligible for admission to practice in the state of Minnesota.

Provide counseling related to copyright issues and the filing of copyright applications Provide advising on issues related to domain names, social media and protection of rights on-line Assist firm attorneys in the review and negotiation of information technology agreements and the drafting of privacy policies Benefits :
Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota, or the ability to become licensed in Minnesota. 2-6 years of legal experience (private practice preferred, but will consider other experience) Some experience preferred in the area of trademark prosecution, or, a strong desire be involved in a practice heavily involving trademark prosecution Some experience preferred in other non-patent areas of IP law (e.g., copyright, data privacy, IT agreements) Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate trademark and other legal issues in a clear and concise manner Ability to manage many matters / tasks at the same time Salary :
