Regional Director Of Nursing
The Regional Director of Nursing provides leadership and oversight for nursing operations across assigned clinics and healthcare sites, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and alignment with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include :
- Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in the strategic and operational management of regional nursing services, including workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Provide visible leadership across assigned clinics, building trust, engagement, and accountability within nursing teams.
- Develop, prepare, and analyze operational and quality reports to identify trends, drive performance improvement, and support evidence-based practice.
- Serve as a key nursing leader on organizational committees and in leadership meetings.
- Monitor nursing coverage schedules across assigned sites; ensure adequate staffing levels and equitable workload distribution.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations, provide coaching and corrective action as needed, and support professional development of team members.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal organizational policies.
- Lead regional quality assurance (QA) initiatives, including monitoring, assigning, and tracking completion of staff QA responsibilities.
- Ensure effective management of Epic workflows including in-baskets, MyChart, prescription refills, referrals, and prior authorizations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor clinic operations, provide leadership presence, and assess nursing practices.
- Facilitate quarterly one-on-one meetings with staff, chart audits, AIDET observations, and team huddles.
- Provide leadership in patient safety, emergency response, and continuity of care, serving as a clinical resource when needed.
- Contribute to ongoing leadership development of nursing personnel through mentoring, education, and direct engagement.
Physical & Mental Requirements

Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.Current RN license in the State of Texas.Current CPR certification.Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience required; ambulatory, multi-site or regional leadership preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
