About The Team / role As the leader of Checkr's Channel Partner Experiences, your role will involve delivering exceptional capabilities for channel partners and customers, facilitating the seamless integration of Checkr into their hiring workflows. You will also oversee the end user experience for Checkr’s post-hire compliance products that enable customers to perform background checks on employees after hiring. To ensure an excellent experience, it is essential to integrate with HR applications that manage the employee lifecycle within the organization. We are looking for someone with significant experience in Enterprise Software Product Management, especially in expanding businesses through channel partners by creating top-notch developer products and integrations. You will work closely with our business development team and collaborate with our SaaS partners to design engaging integrated experiences for end users. Furthermore, you will partner with engineering and operational stakeholders to ensure the developer platform is user-friendly, intuitive, and well-documented.

What You’ll Do

  • Directly own the strategy and roadmap for all developer products (such as APIs, developer portal, developer tools, prebuilt integrations, and an app marketplace) that enable Checkr to access key market segments through partners and alliances.
  • Perform market analysis to identify opportunities to drive an integrated experience with Checkr, including competitive analysis, market trends, and feedback from strategic customers.
  • Collaborate across functions to align strategy with the business development team, drive GTM with PMM, and coordinate with other Checkr product teams to enable integrations.
  • Create and prioritize a multi-release feature roadmap and lead beta / pilot programs for early-stage products and platforms.
  • Represent the customer as the champion and voice of strategic customers and build strong customer relationships.
  • Deliver compelling demos at Checkr’s customer events and provide the API platform that supports secure APIs for end users.
  • Measure product success and impact, identify expansion opportunities, and represent Checkr as a product expert at customer interactions and events.

What You Bring

  • Deep expertise in building developer-focused products that improve developer efficiency.
  • API design skills and experience with distributed systems and integrations.
  • Experience in the integration market and understanding of competitive landscapes and target personas.
  • Ability to drive the roadmap for Checkr’s developer products, with focus on low-code developers and connecting to various business apps.
  • Track record of partnering with engineering to establish a prioritized product roadmap and manage the product backlog.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Professional Services, UX, Documentation, Product Marketing) and enabling field teams via Support and Solutions Engineering.
  • Experience leading end-to-end product realization from concept to release and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science; Master’s degree (optional).
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical product management for developer-focused products (iPaaS, API platforms, or in-product integrations for SaaS).
