Familiarity with tools like TestNG, JUnit, Maven / Gradle. Hands-on experience in automation testing of Java-based microservices using Rest Assured and UI automation using Selenium with Java. Experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO). 5+ years of experience in test automation. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure). Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Familiarity with containerization tools (Podman, Kubernetes). Mid-Senior level Contract Quality Assurance and Engineering Hospitals and Health Care
We are looking for a Sr. QE Automation Engineer – Hybrid Roles in Oakland, CA (1 day a week).
Location
Hybrid roles in Oakland, CA; in-person interviews for local candidates only.
Duration
12+ months with possibility of longer term extensions
Pay Rate
$67 / hr on W2

Role
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for microservices and web applications.
- Develop and maintain test scripts using Rest Assured for API testing and Selenium for UI testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain documentation related to test cases, test results, and automation frameworks.
- Continuously improve test automation practices and tools.
