We are seeking an experienced Director of Government Auditing to join our dynamic accounting team in Oakland, MD. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned public accountant with a passion for government audits and financial assurance to lead audit engagements and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead preparation, review, and execution of government audits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Guide staff by implementing firm policies, principles, and best practices.
- Utilize CCH Pro System Engagement software (preferred).
- Maintain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements during off-season months, including 80 hours of A&A CPE over 2 years, with at least 24 hours of government-specific training (firm covers training costs).
