Mechanical Commissioning Agent - Federal Sector

Procon now seeks an Mechanical Commissioning Agent (CxA) to provide project support across multiple sectors, including government, military, K-12 / higher education, and commercial facilities. This candidate will play a critical role in ensuring optimal building performance by leading commissioning efforts from early design through construction and the warranty phase. This position requires strong expertise in mechanical systems, building automation, and controls (BAS, SCADA). The ideal candidate should have experience working on diverse projects and be willing to travel throughout the U.S.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be based in the Washington, DC / Baltimore, MD area.
• Minimum 10+ years in mechanical systems, including design, fieldwork, and building automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field).
• Travel Requirement : Ability to travel as needed across the continental U.S.
• Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), SCADA, and controls.
