Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.

🩺 Travel RN – MS / Tele FLOAT – Night Shift

Facility : Samaritan Medical Center – Watertown, NY

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights | 3x12 (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Floating Required : Yes

  • Units : MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, Acute Inpatient Rehab (Ortho / Neuro)

    • 🔹 Pay & Radius Rules :

  • 60-Mile Radius Rule : Travelers must reside 60+ miles from facility
  • First-Time Travelers : Not accepted

    • 🔹 Required Experience & Skills :

  • Licensure : Active New York RN license (in-hand at submission)
  • Certifications : BLS & ACLS required
  • Experience :

    • Minimum : One successful travel assignment completed

  • Meditech experience required
  • Common Diagnoses :

    • Sepsis, COPD, CHF

  • Post-op general / ortho / plastics
  • ALC (Awaiting Long-Term Care)
  • Drips / Medications :

    • Heparin drips

  • Magnesium and potassium riders

    • 🔹 Additional Requirements :

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Strong ability to assess and meet clinical, mental, and spiritual patient needs
  • Able to recognize and implement patient safety measures (including proper use of lifts)
  • Must perform well in high-stress environments
  • Strong leadership, delegation, prioritization, and communication skills
  • May be required to act as Charge RN
