Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rockford, Illinois.

Job Summary :

Seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in the Medical Surgical and Cardiac Telemetry units. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac experience and demonstrate excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved techniques, policies, and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans as prescribed by the physician or hospital policy.
  • Provide education and instructions to patients and families regarding care and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with standards of care.
  • Participate in unit and departmental performance improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize clinical expertise to support other departments and ensure continuity of care.
  • Apply critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately.

    • Requirements :

  • Extensive cardiac experience required.
  • Current and active Illinois RN license.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.

    • Licenses & Certifications :

  • CPR (BLS)
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
