JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join one of our large energy companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on electrical engineering. This role requires excellent people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. A background in hydro plant operations is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and oversee projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with electricians, engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Supervise project teams and provide technical guidance.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and address concerns.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project budget and resources efficiently.
  • Utilize Maximo, Bluebeam, and Power Plan software for project management and documentation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
  • Utilities experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Maximo, Bluebeam, and Power Plan software.
  • Background in construction
  • Compensation :

    $55 / hr to $60 / hr.

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
