Part-Time Estate Farmer / Gardener
Cultivate Excellence at The Odyssey
As part of our exciting transformation at The Odyssey , we're growing more than just our guest experience - we're also nurturing our on-site estate farm and garden . This living extension of our kitchen supports our farm-to-table philosophy , providing seasonal produce, herbs, and edible flowers used daily by our culinary team.
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Farmer / Gardener to care for and maintain our estate garden, with a focus on high-value crops including fruits, vegetables, and herbs that directly support our elevated dining offerings.
What You'll Do
Maintain and manage a small-scale estate farm and culinary garden
Plant, cultivate, and harvest a variety of seasonal produce and herbs
Work closely with the culinary team to understand crop needs and menu use
Implement organic and sustainable farming practices
Monitor irrigation systems, soil health, and pest control
Keep detailed records of planting, harvesting, and garden health
What We're Looking For
3-5 years of hands-on experience in horticulture, or organic gardening
Knowledge of high-value culinary crops (fruits, vegetables, herbs)
Familiarity with sustainable and organic farming methods
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible part-time schedule
Strong attention to detail and passion for natural food systems
Experience with raised beds, greenhouse operations, or urban farming is a plus
